Hello! My name is Claudia Urbano. I have been living in Chicago for a few years and have developed a passion for this city and its rich diversity of people. My passion is also in music, dance, and culture. This blog features the city that I love and its vibrant world music and dance scene.
I believe in the power of music and dance to promote integration and appreciation for cultural diversity. This blog is dedicated to those interested in creating an online community interested in this topic and in discovering a different side of Chicago, one that is culturally diverse and global. If you happen to be here, I want to awaken your curiosity and inspire you to have fun exploring the city’s world music scene. And if you are not here: you are about to visit my Chicago, virtually right now, but hopefully I can entice you enough to make the trip and discover why Chicago is a global cultural destination. Let me be your guide. You won’t regret it.
